Women’s Ministries

The Department of Women’s Ministries exists to uphold, encourage, and challenge women in their daily walk as disciples of Jesus Christ and as members of His Church. The mission of Women’s Ministries is, in the larger sense, common to all Christians – that of uplifting Christ in the church and in the world. In doing this, the ministry seeks to:

1. Encourage and promote spiritual growth and renewal among women of all ages.
2. Seek to affirm women that they are extremely valuable in the sight of God because they are created and redeemed by HIM, and to equip women for service in the church and outside the church.
3. Minister to women’s needs during their life span by being sensitive to multi-cultural and multiethnic perspectives.
4. Build goodwill among women in the Church that encourages bonds of friendship, support for service, and the creative exchange of ideas and information.
5. Create paths for women’s involvement in the church by mentoring and encouraging them to Mentor to reach for their potential in Christ;
6. Find ways and means to challenge every woman to use her gifts to complement the talents of others as they work side by side to further the gospel of Jesus Christ.
