Weekly Bulletin April 11, 2026

 Welcome!

We are so glad you’ve joined us today… What is a “community friendship?” Simply, it is a gathering of hopeful sinners who believe that by faith life is enriched here and one day that same life will be eternal. How, you ask? Because we believe in a God who created, forgave, sacrificed, and provided a plan of salvation for all, regardless of race, religion, or sinfulness.

Come join this community of believers who love you and want you, because we are just like you.

Sabbath School 9:30-10:45

                                                                       Today’s Memory Verse

”The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still.”

Exodus 14:14

Please join us for church service this Sabbath, April 11th!

But He grew
By Don Willliams

His parents shouldn’t have been surprised when Jesus disappeared at twelve.
He was just a pre-teen figuring out who he was.
He was gaining the capacity for abstract thinking, for asking why.
Being a typical adolescent, he could not yet see the world through his parent’s eyes.
He got caught up in discussions with the teachers in the temple.
Captivated by new ideas, and challenged by deep insights he forgot time and place.
Besides, he knew he was safe.
The paradigm was shifting, but not too much…not yet.
He went home obedient, still growing in wisdom and stature.
His parents continued to anchor him on his voyage of discovery.
Why this one incident from the hidden years?
Erikson and Piaget help us understand the humanity
in this story of identity and cognitive development
wrapped inside the mystery of the incarnation.

Evangelism Fund
Thank you for considering donating to the church Evangelism Fund. We are hoping to raise $10,000 by sabbath, May 16, to be able to conduct the Ignite Ohio meetings in September. Please consider contributing to this fund.
